One trip around Bajawa
On this tour I will show you my hometown Bajawa. You will have the opportunity to visit two traditional villages nearby, where you are invited to learn more about Ngada culture. There are many possibilities, how you can spend this day, for example visiting the traditional market of Bajawa, admiring the nearby waterfalls, visiting the process of Arabica coffee making, enjoying yourself in a hotspring near Bajawa and more. This trip can be done by car or motorbike.

One day hike to the Inerie Volcano
To enjoy the spectacular sunrise from Mount Inerie we have to leave Bajawa at 4 am. The strato-volcano is steep and is 2245 metres high. It is described as dormant. The last eruption is estimated to have taken place around 10’000 B.C. The whole tour takes around five to six hours including breaks. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to take a warm bath in a nearby hot spring. On our way we will visit a traditional village to learn more about Ngada culture.

One day hike to the Wawo Muda crater lakes
After an eruption in January of 2001 five new crater lakes were formed, the Wawo Muda crater lakes. Due to the contained minerals the colour of the lakes keeps changing. We start our hike in the village of Ngoranale. From here the hike takes around 3.5 hours including breaks. In the afternoon we will pay a visit to the Ogi waterfall. Afterwards you can relay in a nearby hot spring.
